Great episode! You gotta watch Pitch. It was a shame it got cancelled after only one season but I enjoyed it back in the day. Pretty solid production value and tie-ins with the Padres… I wonder how it holds up today.

I like how we both landed on the golden at-bat idea. I was approaching my article from the perspective of Keith Stein basically saying we’re gonna do something different (paraphrased), so what was the best idea on the list? And I think it’s the golden at-bat. We’ll see how it all shakes out though.

And a small clarification - I consider myself just a fan who is excited to have a new writing project. 😁 No greater dreams…

Agreed there, Justin. The golden at-bat is the best idea if you have to pick one. Yup, we will see what happens. Not worried about the lack of announcements, either. :) Oops, I think I misinterpreted one of your earlier messages. My fault! You never know, though...we were two of the first to cover the WPBL regularly. That could count for something in their eyes...I mean, they haven't told me no yet! I try to send an email out to them from time to time with a link to the podcast.
